HIP DYSPLASIA

GUARANTEE

Magnum Kennel guarantees your puppy’s hips to be free of Hip Dysplasia and OFA Certifiable until 30 months of age, provided there has been no physical injury and you meet the following requirements:

  1.  Your Dog/Bitch is fully registered with the A.K.C / C.K.C. using our Kennel prefix.  e.g. Magnum’s Brownie.

  2. Your Dog/Bitch must not have whelped or sired a litter of puppies.

  3. Your Dog's/Bitch's hip x-rays are submitted to "The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals" for certification prior to your Dog/Bitch turning 30 months of age.

  4. You MUST provide Magnum Kennel with the following:

    1. A photocopy of the AKC Registration and photograph of your dog after 18 months of age.

    2. Radiograph of hips.

    3. Physical return of the Dog/Bitch to Magnum Kennel at your expense or with our consent, neuter, spay or euthanize the animal providing us with a veterinarians certification of death.

    4. Return AKC/CKC Registration transferring Dog/Bitch to Magnum Kennel.

Upon fulfilling the above, Magnum Kennel will replace your puppy with a current or next breeding.

CONGENITAL EYE DEFECTS

GUARANTEE

Magnum Kennel guarantees your puppy’s eyes against congenital eye defects of Progressive Retinal Atrophy/PRA and Multifocal Retinal Dysplasia/MRD provided you meet the following requirements:

  1. Your Dog/Bitch is fully registered with the AKC/CKC using our Kennel prefix. e.g. Magnum's Brownie.

  2. You provide Magnum Kennel a photocopy of AKC Registration. OFA Certification and a photograph of your dog after age 18 months.

  3. Your Dog/Bitch must not have whelped or sired a litter of puppies.

  4. Your Dog’s/Bitch’s eyes must be examined and certified by a Registered Veterinary Canine Ophthalmologist as having inherited a Congenital Eye Defect – PRA/Progressive Retinal Atrophy. MRD/Multiphocal Retinal Dysplasia prior to your Dog/Bitch turning 30 months of age. It must be specifically ascertained by the examining ophthalmologist that eye defects could not possibly have been caused by physical injury to the eyes.

  5. You provide Magnum Kennel with the following:

    1. Complete signed and certified examination report by a Registered Veterinary Canine Ophthalmologist detailing the congenital eye defect, specifically certifying the defect wasn’t and could not possibly have been the result of prior physical injury to the eyes of the dog.

    2. Physical return of the Dog/Bitch to Magnum Kennel at your expense or with our consent neuter, spay or euthanize the animal providing us with a veterinarian’s certification of death.

    3. Return AKC/CKC Registration transferring Dog/Bitch to Magnum Kennel.

Upon fulfilling the above, Magnum Kennel well replace your puppy with a current or next breeding.
